Why Watch "Our Common Connections"?
Together, we focus on the connectedness of us all, however dissimilar our paths may appear. Yes, despite our upbringing, our education, or where in the world we reside, we face many of the same challenges. It is when we view our struggles from a higher perspective, are we able to see that whether we are dealing with issues regarding our health, our careers, our children, parents, or partners, it is our response to these challenges that allows for a more fluid and graceful journey.
Although my life may appear different from yours, we have all experienced issues within our family dynamic. Whether we were raised in a single parent, indigent blue-collar Southern family with nine older brothers, or we were an only child and trust fund baby of a wealthy aristocratic European couple, we all may share similar stories of feeling subjected to control, manipulation, rejection, abandonment, loneliness, isolation, and misunderstanding.
The details for each of us are different as we are each in unique situations, yet we all desire to be valued for the amazing Being we are!
When we see life differently and move forward leaving behind a past that no longer serves us to embark on a new path, a different path, and a higher path, we can understand and love ourselves, as we open our hearts to each other.
